Learnt

If you google the meaning of lily, you will find a lot of interesting answers. Next to gerbera, lily is one of my favourite flower. It is pleasing to the eyes and it smells really good. It, definitely will be able to put a smile on our face after going through a stressful day at work.

This two weeks is the exam and submission of the proposal week! So, imagine the tense, the endless nightmares, waking up, sweating as dreaming being question of the details of the proposal and i could go on listing out the side effects of taking MA. However, it is not at all bad. (Gotta bear in mind that, it is one of the goal in life to be achieved!) The interesting people we met along the process, amazing views, mixing around with knowledgeable people who treated you nicely and they do not look down at you or making you look like a fool or even worst a loser!

Again, i would say the best part is of meeting educated people. I'm not being judgmental here. But based on my experience for the past 2 years, their humbleness really amazed me! Forgive me for saying this, those who are 'not so educated' or i would rather say 'so called knowledgeable' boast a lot about their achievements than the real achievers! Why is that so? The feeling of insecurity? Or are they being scared of being look down? Then why don't make the first move and do something about it rather than bang the gong around telling people that you are capable of doing everything, and exaggerating about having things that others don't have. It's a funny world out there. And too bad, sometimes we just got to bear with them.. But, until when? Ah, this reminds me of the poem If by Rudyard Kipling -

'If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;'

And i am blessed to meet so many people who are indeed very knowledgeable and also down to earth. When i happen to found out the truth about them, i was shocked because they are so modest in their answers and my salute goes to them!

Ah, and lesson to be learned this week..

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If - Rudyard Kipling
