a butterfly flying aimlessly, almost knocking the rough leaves but managed to get away. Stopped, taking a deep breath and pushing itself to continue flying-again.
Suddenly, it stops and looking at the beautiful daisy. Thanking God for the wonderful, amazing creation, it decided to get close to it.
Hovering around it, trying to get close to it, touching its soft petals, sniffing the clean breath of the flower. Feeling a little giddy over the rough winds, the butterfly decided to make a stop and the daisy is its first choice. Leaning against the petals whilst letting go a heavy sigh, it reminiscing upon the journey it had in reaching the daisy.

Suddenly, the daisy shimmered. The butterfly was shocked. Trying hard to pull itself away from it, but could not. Its leg had been sticking to the petals as if it had been glued to it. Trying to scream out loud, asking for help but to no avail. There is no one to be seen.

Patches of Uncertainties
sometimes loud sometimes clear.
Polka doting the used clean sheet.
Walks thoroughly the zig zag path.

Sometimes, I just have to stop talking and start listening..
And to observe and not to just look but to see...
or perhaps once in a while to stop wondering..
and to just follow the flow.

Lost in Space by Lighthouse Family

Sometimes I get tired of this me-first attitude
You are the one thing that keeps me smiling
That's why I'm always wishing hard for you

'Cause your light shines so bright
I don't feel no solitude
You are my first star at night
I'd be lost in space without you

And I'll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do

Feels just so fine
When we touch the sky me and you
This is my idea of heaven
Why can't it always be so good?

But it's all right, I know you're out there
Doing what you've gotta do
You are my soul satellite
I'd be lost in space without you

And I'll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do

And I'll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do

And I'll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do

And I'll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do

And I'll never lose my faith in you
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do

*An old times favourite :)

I've just finished reading This earth of mankind! another awesome book by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. It took me quite some time to finish reading it as i have to juggle between work and classes. What makes this novel interesting to read is the potrayal of Minke the main character of the story. He amazed me because being a native, he is able to make full use of the education and his talent in writing. However, his wife Annellies's character is so weak. I kinda hate her character for she is being too dependant on Minke and had given up hope towards the end of the story! Shouldn't she also fight back and not just gave in? Her love for Minke is great but she is so weak...i dont want to elaborate futher or i'll end up cursing her characters from bits to pieces!

So, next book on my list are Lord Jim by Joseph COnrad. Had started on it in fact and the mentioning of local states such as Penang and Malacca in the novel excites me! i feel connected (for no apparent reason) :P.

And...another book that i have been wanting to read is Paradise of the Blind. This book is still ban (if i'm not mistaken) in Vietnam. So that is the main reason why i badly want to read it! hehehe...well that's human nature right..the moment we know that something is forbidden and not allowed to read/do..the more we want to do it! wonder why eh.. perhaps the desire to go against something or just to follow what have been instilled so long in our mind - rules are meant to be broken?

well, I don't know because it is up to the individual to do what they believe in.
